This free online career training resource offers our workforce and job seekers the necessary tools to grow, upskill, or bridge skill gaps as inflation and the cost of living increases.
On-the-job training (OJT) is offered to adult and dislocated workers who are unemployed and looking to learn new skills for HSHW opportunities. OJT is training given to a paid employee while he or she is engaged in productive work, providing essential knowledge and skills for one’s performance on the job.
Apprenticeships are real jobs with training, so you can earn a wage while you learn and become fully trained in your chosen occupation by the end of the apprenticeship.

WIOA provides individualized services intended to help job seekers upgrade or return to the workforce by utilizing general, individual, and training services. It also provides one-on-one assistance for job seekers with resumes, interviewing, job search, and career planning.
​​Our career centers are staffed with professionals who can assist veterans or eligible military family members with employment needs. As a member of the CareerSource Florida network, we offer priority of service to our Veterans and eligible family members.
CareerSource North Central Florida is here to provide young adults between 16 and 24 with opportunities to obtain employment and pursue industry-recognized certifications that align with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
