Trenton, FL — March 31, 2026 — CareerSource North Central Florida (CSNCFL) hosted the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Trenton Career Center on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, welcoming job seekers, employers, community partners, and local officials to celebrate the expansion of workforce services in Gilchrist County.
The new center, located at 723 E Wade St in Trenton, Florida, will provide residents with access to career counseling, job search assistance, training programs, and employment resources, while also supporting local businesses with recruitment, training, and workforce development services.
The event featured keynote remarks from Gilchrist County Administrator Bobby Crosby, who spoke on the importance of expanding access to workforce resources for both residents and employers.
“For our citizens who are looking for jobs or a different type of training for work, and also the employers who want to send employees for training, this office will help make [those opportunities] available and convenient right here in our community,” Crosby said in an interview with WCJB TV20.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the new center, connect with CareerSource staff, and learn more about available programs and services designed to support local employment and economic growth.
The opening of the Trenton Career Center is part of CareerSource North Central Florida’s continued efforts to expand in-person services across the region.
