Alachua, FL (August 16, 2023) — CareerSource North Central Florida (CSNCFL) is pleased to announce its new partnership with Springboard, an industry-leading online learning platform preparing students for in-demand careers through comprehensive, mentor- and instructor-led programs, to offer eligible Alachua and Bradford County residents flexible, fast online training for in-demand careers in data analytics. No prior experience is required, but candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent to qualify for the courses.
“We are thrilled to offer this new partnership with Springboard,” says Phyllis Marty, Chief Executive Officer of CareerSource North Central Florida. “This collaboration allows local job seekers to access in-demand job training and qualifications that are otherwise not readily available.”
The Springboard Data Analytics Course will teach students how to transform real-world datasets into actionable recommendations, master technical and strategic thinking skills, and frameworks, develop an advanced ability to use visualization tools, and learn how to leverage industry tools and languages, including Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Python, and more.
Throughout this 6–7 month program, students will develop their data skillset through a project-based curriculum and experiential learning, all backed by live human support. Students will be expected to dedicate 20 hours per week to the course, with the ability to work around their personal schedule.
