Every four years, the CareerSource NCFL workforce development board is required to submit its plan to the State of Florida.
An addendum to the Workforce Services Plan was submitted to the DEO once approved by the CareerSource NCFL Board, and by our Chief Elected Officials (the Alachua and Bradford Boards of County Commissioners). The addendum addresses five areas requiring clarification based on the publication of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Final Rules in August 2016. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) sent a memo to all Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) requiring they prepare such an addendum, in accordance with CareerSource Florida Local Plan Instructions.
